Dr. Sterling McPherson is a leader in Experimental Psychology and Quantitative Methods. He and his team have been lead collaborators on the development of NAS products. Dr. McPherson and Dr. Mike McDonell, a Clinical Psychologist and Professor at the College of Medicine, have also collaborated on Contingency Management solutions to reduce alcohol use.\n<\/span><\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Alzheimer\u2019s<\/h3>

Washington State University\n<\/span>\nPsychology Department\n<\/span><\/span><\/h4>\n

We are a sub-awardee of a Department of Defense grant working with Dr. Maureen Schmitter-Edgecombe to develop EMMA, a digital memory notebook for persons with cognitive impairment. The project also includes a mastery-based training component which supports machine learning to adapt skill lessons to user performance.\n<\/span><\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Our experience includes assisting a regional hospital acquire and implement a CMS Innovation grant to reduce hospital mortality and training support related to smoking cessation.
